Lead Technical Business Analyst | Capital Markets

Join our Commodities and Global Markets technology team where you will work alongside a group of technologists that are responsible for developing and maintaining ‘As Is’ applications for dataflows for downstream consumers. These components are used by our business and integrate with downstream processes that need our data for capital and liquidity purposes across our Finance, Risk and Group Treasury team.

What role you will play?

In this role, you will be responsible for data lineage analysis, assessing application derivation logic and designing change on our post-trade finance and risk systems, transforming and delivering data to downstream consumers including Finance, Risk, Group Treasury, APRA. Working with a range of stakeholders, you will understand business requirements and solution design, test functionality and transform data, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve.

What you offer

  • Experience in a Lead or Senior Technical Business Analyst role, within the Financial Services sector and in the Capital Markets domain
  • Experience in client facing roles in a complex environment, working with both business and technical stakeholders with conflicting priorities
  • Experience with analysis of front to back system flows, product lifecycles and documenting change
  • Experience working with data focussed roles across data lineage, data analysis, data flows and process re-engineering
  • Ideally you will bring with you experience as a Developer or ability to read C++ / Java and/or Python Code.
