Project Engineer

Opportunity to assist in growing Defence remediation division. Progression toward Project Manager role.
THE ROLEJoin our growing Northern Territory team and assist in the delivery of our Defence structural strengthening and civil remediation projects throughout Darwin. You will be primarily responsible for engineering deliverables and operations, overseeing technical disciplines and coordination of our projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Plan and coordinate works, equipment, and personnel
- Procurement and subcontract engagement
- Drive HSEQ and HSEQ compliance
- Manage ITPs and Quality documentation
- RFI’s
- Prepare and submit progress claims
- Monitor project costs
- Coordinate direct labour workforce and sub-contractors
- Program and schedule works
- Quantity take-offs
- Prepare tender submissions
- Undertake site inspection
Extensive on-ground project engineering experience. Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or similar). Exposure to Defence projects - desirable. Solid project delivery skills, including budgeting and coordinating works. Client facing with a strong commercial skillset. Able to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships. Self-managing while working well in a team environment. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines. Police Clearance.
