Kennedy Baptist College is a leading co-educational Christian school for students in Years 7 to 12, located in Perth’s southern suburb of Murdoch. Kennedy Baptist College was formed in 2013 after the amalgamation of two neighbouring Colleges. It is now home to approximately 1,200 students, and together we enter the next exciting chapter.

About the Role

Basketball Coordinator (full-time, ongoing)

As a qualified teacher with proven experience in developing sports programs, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of our specialist Basketball program, as well as overseeing our competition teams. This is a hands-on role and you will be actively involved in all aspects of the program.

Previous experience in coaching or playing elite basketball will be a valuable complement to external coaching resources. Being able to effectively engage with students and their families is crucial to ensure their development and overall success.

This role has an approximate 0.6 FTE Teaching/ 0.4 FTE coordination responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Sport. Developing relationships through regular and professional communication with fellow staff, students, their parents/ guardians and external parties is key. It is expected that the Coordinator will be attending trials, practice, matches, events and related activities in support of the program therefore a current MR driver’s license and PTD will be required.
