As a member of our Orders Desk team, you will perform a variety of customer service, order desk, administrative and reception functions. This can be a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and critical thinking.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Utilize your strong listening, communication, and multitasking skills to provide a positive and professional customer experience for our clients.
  • Answer general phone line with professional phone mannerism and take orders, transfer calls, answer questions and promote items.
  • Receive and process orders, invoices, and credit memos in-person, via phone and via email with a high level of accuracy.
  • Perform a wide variety of office duties such as faxing, photocopying, scanning, emailing, printing, process payments, etc.
  • Work closely and communicate often with other departments such as warehouse, sales reps, office, production, and drivers.


SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

Shift: Flexible weekdays x3 (4:00a - 12:00p); Saturday (4:00a - 12:00p) & Sunday (10:00a - 6:00p/11:00a - 7:00p).).


WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Excellent display of critical thinking, creativity, and innovation; administrative, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • A high level of motivation, ability to work in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision and excellent multitasking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to offer world-class customer service standards in person, on phone and via email, a passion to go above and beyond customer expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A willingness to learn and openness to coaching and feedback.
  • Ability to maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures.


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Office experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional phone mannerism are a must.
  • Proficient computer and typing skills are a must.
  • Knowledge of produce and distribution industry an asset.
  • Advanced skills working with computers and other office equipment.
