Over the last 10 years, FightMND has grown into a prestigious organisation throughout Australia, growing awareness and supporting the fight against "the beast" that is Motor Neurone Disease.
Hays Healthcare is delighted to partner with FightMND in the recruitment of a Grants Manager to effectively manage the end-to-end processes of their important "Cure and Care" grants.

Your new role

As a vital member of the Programs Team, you'll oversee FightMND's grants and programs, ensuring robust governance for all funded projects. Your role involves engaging with research and government stakeholders to effectively manage and oversee their various projects. Further, you'll be tasked with:

  • Strategy Development: Ensuring alignment of all FightMND's grant processes with the overarching "Cure and Care" strategies
  • Planning & Project Management: Managing end-to-end processes for FightMND grant rounds and projects
  • Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with grantees and administering institutions

What you'll need to succeed

Possessing a Bachelors degree in science, or relevant discipline, you will have a proven track record in a grant administration role, ideally within the healthcare sector. This will be supported by:

  • An expert in working with grant management software and grant workflow systems
  • Experience in academic and/or not-for-profit industries
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar funding contracts and project / financial reporting processes
