Estimator - Demolition

We are currently looking for an experienced Demolition and Residential Building Estimator within a well-established business. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading business in the Moreton Bay Area.

1. Identify, review, and respond to new business opportunities.
2. Accountable for overall pricing of tender submissions Business Development utilizing online portals to source new leads.
3. Assess, compile and prepare accurate resource-based estimates and quotations for Demolition and building/renovations projects.
4. Provide regular reports and recommendations on the progress of the tender and proposal.
5. Manage and maintain client databases.
6. Negotiate pricing and obtain quotes from suppliers for projects.
7. Foster positive relationships with clients and key internal and industry stakeholders.

You should have:

1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Demolition/Construction Industry – Primarily Demolition
2. Exceptional time management skills, capability to ensure deadlines are met, work with minimal supervision.
3. Successful track record in winning bids.
4. Act in a professional manner with a high work ethic.
5. Previous experience with estimating software tools and strong MS Suite.
6. The ability to work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Strong time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise.
8. High level of negotiation and analytical skills
