About the Role:
Join our dynamic team as an Organisational Design Specialist and play a pivotal role in the Uniting People Experience Transformation Program. Reporting to the People Capability Transformation Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping and documenting the key components of our target People Experience Operating Model and establishing the governance of our job architecture framework.
This is more than just a system upgrade; it's a transformation that will enhance how we support our employees and deliver exceptional care to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Refine and validate job architecture framework and content through consultation with business SMEs.
- Design the governance process for the ongoing maintenance and application of job architecture in our new HRIS.
- Collaborate with the People Capability Transformation Lead to develop and document the People Experience Operating Model and related processes and artefacts.
- Develop a People Experience Knowledge Hub to house and surface all Operating Model documentation for our People Experience colleagues to utilise.
- Support the People Capability Transformation Stream by managing emerging tasks, reporting progress, meeting deadlines, and contributing to program team stand-ups and All-Ins.
- Continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to improve the operating model and job architecture framework based on the evolution of the workplace,business strategy and best practice.
- Collaboration with the Change and Transformation team to develop effective change management strategies to support transitioning to the new models/frameworks.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Adaptability: Ability to change approach as new information becomes available.
- Consultation: Skill in asking insightful questions, actively listening, and capturing responses to inform optimal design and decision-making.
- Verbal Communication: Translate technical HRIS information into easily understood messaging for various audiences.
- Written Communication: Ensure accurate spelling, language, and naming conventions in job architecture information; adapt language for process documents to ensure clarity.
- Attention to Detail: Thorough concern for all areas involved in a task, monitoring and checking work meticulously.
- People Data Management: Ability to manage and analyse people data to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and insights.
- Time Management: Self-manage time to meet program deadlines, communicate obstacles promptly, and suggest improvements.
- Relationship Management: Build productive, respectful relationships with stakeholders and program colleagues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a similar field.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related function.
- Experience working with HRIS technology.
- Knowledge and experience in documenting business processes.
- Proficiency in record management and document storage.
- Understanding of job architecture frameworks and HR operating models.
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and SharePoint.
- Strong understanding of technology to streamline processes.
- Experience in Aged Care or community services desirable.
