This is the perfect opportunity for a qualified tradesperson such as a maintenance fitter, looking to take the next step in your career.

About You

  • A qualified and experienced tradesperson who aspires to develop their career
  • Maintenance fitting experience gained in an environment where there are moving parts, components, assemblies, etc, with a high emphasis on safety
  • Highly developed written and verbal english communication skills
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • A solutions focused problem solver
  • Forklift and boom elevated platform license is a must
  • Comfortable with heights, heavy lifting and climbing
  • Customer service orientated

What you will be doing:

  • Provide leadership within the Technical Services department
  • Supervise, train and mentor technicians and officers
  • Ensuring the maintenance of equipment and building is carried out safely and to standards
  • Managing the allocation of labour
  • Applying a 'no compromise' approach to OHS/WHS and company procedures and guidelines
  • Leading toolbox talks
  • Performance management and employee reviews
  • Other tasks as defined by the Engineering Manager of Tech. Services
