Companion Support Worker - No care experience required

Right at Home Gold Coast Northern Rivers is looking for entry level caregivers with a passion to care for others, and the compassion to do it well.

By joining our 'Caring Super Star' team, you can improve the quality of life for those we serve. Your ambition and passion will be central to caring for those in need and giving families peace of mind that their loved one is safe.

Entry level rates from $34.94 per hours

Who are we looking for?

  • Looking for support workers to commit to regular and consistent shift schedules.
  • Support individuals with intellectual, mental health and/or physical disabilities.
  • Must be creative and resourceful to assist participants and clients to achieve their goals.
  • Passionate, empathetic & committed to provide the best care to each individual
  • Delivering high quality person centered support
  • Daily living assistance in the home and community
  • Support physical health and emotional well-being
  • Assisting individuals to and from community-based activities and appointments.
  • Complete all relevant documentation and reporting as required

Requirements

The 'must haves' for this position include:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Driver’s license with comprehensive insurance
  • National Police Check
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Card and NDIS Orientation Module Certificate or willing to obtain upon employment
  • Smartphone (iOS or Android)
  • Flexibility We work with you to set your schedule
  • Paid training and development
  • Paid travel time in between clients and paid KM'S
  • Extremely positive work environment
