Role title: Senior Data Strategist
Duration: ASAP start date - 6months from commencement
Pay rate: $700/day + super
Working hours: 8hours/day, 40hours/week
Work location: Parramatta with WFH set-up

Description:
Primary purpose of the role
This role will work with the current R&A data team and the Strategic Support Digital Project Unit team to progress the Data Strategy to provide a framework for managing data going forward for the Executive consideration. 

Key Accountabilities
• Developing and implement the Data Strategy aligned with business objectives and needs.
• Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and establish effective data governance practices.
• Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with Indigenous Data Sovereignty principles
• Support the process of continuous improvement in the use of evidence in decision making – sharing learnings, developing tools to embed evidence in others work and exemplifying best practice.

Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in data strategy and governance.
  • Familiarity with Governance principles.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and manage complex data projects.
