We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Embedded Linux Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Yocto, BitBake, generating BSPs, NXP devices, C, C++, and shell scripting.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux systems for a range of devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and integrate software into hardware systems.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation and specifications.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing software and systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Work with customers and vendors to resolve issues related to embedded Linux systems.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Yocto, BitBake, and generating BSPs.
  • Experience with NXP devices.
  • Strong experience with C, C++, and shell scripting.
  • Experience with embedded Linux systems.
  • Ability to rapidly adapt to new devices and port code.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, and Ethernet.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with build systems such as make or CMake.
