We are looking for innovative, groundbreaking Senior Engineers who would relish the opportunity to work on iconic projects not only in Australia, but also be instrumental in bringing to life unique design and global concepts such as The Sharaan Resort at AlUla – a landmark venture which draws the Nabataean wonders of Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.
As one of our Senior Engineers in Tunnels and Underground Structures, you will be joining an award-winning national team, overleveraging more than 150 years of combined expert experience.
You will be an integral part of our industry-leading Geotechnical and Tunnels team, who all share a common passion for technical excellence and innovation.

What you’ll do:
- Provide technical advice on complex Tunnel and/or Underground engineering issues to clients and internal staff and deliver best practice consulting services;
- Use advanced techniques, modifications and extension of theories, practices to synthesise and analyse data for decision making/ recommendations;
- Build reputation as an expert Consultant. Participate in industry groups as part of maintaining high industry profile;
- Manage, analyse and carry out Tunnel and/or Underground reporting for projects
- Provide safety leadership in identifying and alleviating/ eliminating high priority safety hazards;
- Participate in training activities, mentor and transfer knowledge to other Tunnel and Underground engineers;
- Manage existing and new client relationships and undertake proactive business development activities;
- Keep abreast of advancing technologies, methods and research & development;
- Supervise, coordinate and review/evaluate activities carried out by less experienced engineers;
- Prepare tenders, proposals and reports for clients; and
- Guide, participate and support stakeholder engagement activities
About you:
- Typically, at least 5 to 12 years' experience in Tunnels and/or Underground engineering
- A successful track record in undertaking and managing field investigations for small to large size projects
- Track record of promoting innovation in the field of Tunnels and/or Underground engineering to create value for clients/ projects
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation / review of written technical reports and client communications
- A civil engineering or Structural engineering degree
- Post graduate qualifications in a Structural related field will be considered favourably
- A strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to take responsibility for geotechnical design delivery in multidisciplinary environment
