Business Advisory Services – Senior / Supervisor Accountant

Business Services & Corporate Advisory (Accounting)

LB Advisory is a Chartered Accounting business aimed at providing exceptional service to our clients. Our client base is diverse across several industries making every task both challenging and exciting.

Our work includes technical and compliance matters, and advising on financial software implementations, structuring and some best practice processes. Our systems are cloud based which allows for some flexibility in working in the office or from home.

We have an opportunity for a tech savvy experienced accountant to join an innovative and dynamic team. You will be working directly with a forward-thinking principal on all clients in a collaborative environment with opportunities to grow and expand your own experience.

Holding at least Bachelor's Degree with a major in accounting, you will have commenced or completed the CA program.

Your role will focus primarily on client compliance work and assisting the principal director on other advisory tasks including:

  • Workflow Management
  • Completion of BAS, IAS, FBT and SMSF
  • Annual Compliance & Income Tax Returns 
  • Assistance with providing advice
  • Liaise with the ATO and ASIC on client compliance matters
  • Weekly & Monthly management reporting in Power BI
  • Assisting with client accounting file maintenance
  • Other tasks as required

Your skills and experience are within a public practice Chartered Accounting business and include:

  • At least 3 years of prior accounting experience
  • The ability to effectively manage your time and prioritise tasks
  • Possess the drive to grow professionally and learn new things
  • Experience with cloud and desktop accounting software including Xero, and MYOB
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Word and excellent Excel skills

Additional skills, but not essential:

  • Use of Xero Practice Manager
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power BI
  • MyWorkpapers
  • CAS360

The salary offered will be commensurate with experience and education.
