Bohlevale State School are seeking a Deputy Principal to engage in targeted improvement in Early Years literacy, with a specific focus on students with a disability, and students identifying as First Nations.

A suitable applicant would engage with instructional leadersand school teams to work towards whole school literacy improvement.

This role is offered on a full-time temporary basis, until 13 December 2024, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role

Your role as Deputy Principal will include:

  • Working alongside the Head of Department-Curriculum (HOD/C) and cohort teams to lead the continued implementation of ACV9 English, with a focus on engaging pedagogies.
  • Co-lead the unpacking and planning for implementation of ACV9 Mathematics for 2025.
  • Actively engage with Student Services, leading the development and delivery of strategies to support student learning and engagement.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to support student learning and engagement.
  • Support teachers with the development and implementation of behaviour support plans.
  • Work in a high energy environment with a team of learning and inclusion staff.
