MBM, a leading national independent Australian property consultancy, is on the lookout for a Graphic Designer Intern to join our dynamic team, working 2-3 days per week. As a key player in Quantity Surveying, Building Consultancy and other expert services, we are expanding our creative horizons and need a talented intern to contribute to our internal and external communications.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Graphic Designer, the Marketing team and senior management to produce high-quality visual content, including brochures, presentations, branding materials and more.
- Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders to understand project scopes and apply your learning in real-world scenarios.
- Contribute to the design process, from conceptualisation to execution, under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Assist in ensuring all design outputs are in line with MBM’s brand and visual identity standards.
- Engage in asset management, including updating and creating collateral assets.
- Contribute to the design of client communication materials and email signature blocks.
- Support the continuous improvement of fee proposal templates with innovative designs.
- Assist in selecting impactful imagery and descriptions that resonate with MBM’s brand message.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in graphic design.
What We’re Looking For:
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of graphic design.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A proactive approach to creative challenges.
- Current enrolment in or recent graduation from a graphic design-related degree is preferred.
