Our client is a leader in the plant and machinery hire industry, based in Ravenhall. Due to rapid growth they are in need of an Assistant Accountant to come on board on a temp to perm basis.

The Role

  • Month End.
  • General Ledgers.
  • Daily and monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Assisting with tax compliance including BAS, Payroll tax, FBT returns, etc.
  • Assisting with the preparation of year end accounts, statutory accounts, and audit.
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

The Candidate

  • 4 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience using MYOB and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • A Bachelor/ Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Studying towards CPA/CA.
  • Ability to work within strict deadlines and reporting timetables
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and schedule activities to optimise time and resource utilisation.
  • Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
