Maintenance Technician, Reliability Maintenance Engineering

Amazon is seeking Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) Technicians to join our Maintenance & Engineering team at our Sort Center in the Northern Melbourne Suburb of Craigieburn. The focus of the Maintenance Technician role is to ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, conduct preventative maintenance on time, and provide high equipment availability through continuous improvement. The current shift pattern includes 10-hour shifts x 4 days.
Key Job Responsibilities:- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on all equipment within the site.
- Prioritize health & safety in all work.
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly, and fix issues efficiently.
- Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and providing feedback.
- Ensure high equipment availability to internal customers.
- Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians.
Our RME Technicians respond quickly to machinery issues, conduct planned maintenance, and promptly address breakdowns. They work with senior colleagues on day-to-day maintenance tasks and building upkeep.

Basic Qualifications:- Formal Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Electrotechnology or Mechanical Trade.
- Experience in planned preventative maintenance systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
- Experience in conveyor maintenance, motor controllers, and working to safety standards.
