Our iconic Brisbane flagship is located at the world renowned Calile Hotel and features our unique in-house workshop. Set behind our signature arched window, clients are immersed in the making of their jewellery every day of the week.

New to our boutique, is our luxury Piercing Studio. For piercings made to last, with jewellery you never have to take out.

We create fine jewellery, with an edge. Our jewellery combines second-generation expertise and an innovative and eclectic design ethos. All By Baby jewellery is solid gold and designed to last a lifetime.

Our sell-out, one-off collections, hero unique coloured gems and diamonds, and are curated with the passion and inherent originality of Angelique’s core designs.

The Role

The James Street Assistant Store Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to cultivate a warm and inviting retail and team working environment while providing an exceptional customer service experience.

Key Attributes & Experience

  • Minimum 1+ years’ experience in fashion retail.
  • Experience leading a team in jewellery or luxury is beneficial.
  • Passionate about jewellery and fashion with an understanding of luxury goods.
  • Experienced in online and brick-and-mortar retail, with a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and with positivity to new or changing circumstances.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Enthusiastic, warm and positive.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold a high level of customer service in-store and online.
  • Support store manager in the completion of routine operational tasks to ensure a presentable and organised boutique.
  • Act as supervisor for the retail boutique when manager is not in store.
  • Ensure online order fulfilment and online customer service is completed in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support team members to achieve team goals.
  • Apply a positive and proactive approach to customer service and problem solving.
  • Create an energetic and inviting retail and team-working environment, encouraging team members to do the same.
  • Work with the workshop and custom design teams to support the jewellery workshop and foster successful customer experiences.

  • This is a full-time role, working solely in our James Street boutique in Fortitude Valley (Brisbane, QLD). Regular working roster Sunday-Thursday.
