Enterprise Architect

Victoria University islooking for an Enterprise Architect with passion and experience delivering Enterprise Architecture in the Higher Education and or similar complexity environments. In this role, you will be responsible for the application and integration architecture strategies, application models, roadmaps and high-level designs that contribute to the effective realisation of VictoriaUniversities plans, investment portfolios and change delivery programs.

The Role
In this role you will align the University’s technology strategy with its business mission, strategy, and processes and documenting this using architectural models.
You will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing continuous improvement processes and policies to meet key enterprise architecture metrics and interactions across the multiple channels of communication as well as being responsible for providing authoritative and strategic advice and recommendations to the University’s executive management and leading the Architectural Review Board (ARB) to ensure all initiatives align with the University’s digital principles.
You will also lead enterprise architecture related projects across the University as required.
This is a full-time continuing role and agenerous salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
The Person
To be successfulin this role you will need
- Expertise in Enterprise Architecture principles.
- Understanding of the University structure and management to be able to communicate effectively with other areas during a change, outage, or service enhancement.
- Experience in architecting, evaluating and documenting programs involving major change and innovation which will impact on other areas.
- Experience in developing enterprise road maps that align with universities strategy and comply with relevant legislative requirements.
- Skills in supplier management, senior stakeholder management and negotiation
- Experience in managing architectural deliverables for program and projects in order to ensure effective and efficient delivery and development of services.
- Knowledge of Higher Education and Vocational Education industry 'drivers' for Enterprise Architecture and technology trends that are relevant to Victoria University
