The role of Senior Plannerwill see yourself working on a permanent full-time in Victoria Park office, WA with adhoc site visitations. You will be working closely with Area manager, Project Managers, and site based project teams. You will be working collaboratively with another support Planner to ensure ongoing schedule updates, project's completion progress are accurately reported back to the business.  Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Controls function for the project including planning/scheduling activities.
  • Plan the labour hours, conduct regular meeting with team leaders to ensure on time delivery of projects.
  • Analysing qualitative or quantitative data, drawing conclusions and making recommendations for action in regards to planning/scheduling.
  • Review planning and scheduling documentation and identify ambiguities, risks and key issues to be considered by the project execution team.
  • Ensure that appropriate planning and scheduling techniques and systems are implemented to meet the projects needs.
  • Works cooperatively with others to accomplish project goals Handle enquires and provide information and advice to team members regarding planning and scheduling.
  • Prepare planning/scheduling information into correspondence, forms, reports or databases; prepares information for dissemination to others.

What you will bring
  • 7+ years of experience in planning/scheduling activities in major rail, road or civil infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in planning/scheduling in contractor settings within resource sector is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of Primavera 6 & Microsoft Project is a must.
  • Ability to formulate S-Curves and cross referencing rostered hours and scheduled hours.
  • A thorough understandings of the importance of critical path and resource level.
  • Have sound commercial experience.
  • A previous site experience is highly advantageous.
  • Be comfortable with FIFO arrangement.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Australian Driver’s License.
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.
