Brick/Blocklayers Labourer

Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a driven Block/Bricklayers Labourer who aspires to be part of a respectful and high performing team.

You will be joining our team where you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across Southeast Queensland. We work on different types of projects in a diverse range of industries, so the work is always varied.

McNab also has several career pathways available for those that are looking to build a career in Construction. Several our most senior leaders at McNab started hands on, on the ground running and worked their way up to become Foreman, Site Managers, Project Managers and Construction Managers. Duties:

• Assisting with varied block and brick laying duties including applying/removing mortar with a trowel
• Lay bricks, blocks, or other masonry units under guidance and according to plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Prepare foundations for masonry work, ensuring proper alignment and levelling.
• Ability to work with varying materials and products.
• Operation of hand and power tools and hire equipment.
• Following safety protocols and procedures on all job sites.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

What we are looking for:

• Experienced Block/Bricklayers labourers
• Reliable, hardworking, and confident individuals.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transport, as travel is required throughout the region.
• Construction White Card or the ability to obtain.
• Strong attention to detail and take pride in the work you deliver.
