About the Opportunity
As the Business Analyst, working within the Workforce team, your primary focus is to prepare commercial/operational reporting and analysis, business forecasting, preparation of annual budgets and analysing data to assist the business with decision making around business improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce fortnightly staff cost forecasts
- Produce month end Board Pack; providing analysis and comments to explain month end labour result
- Maintain the labour data, and produce and analyse labour hours on a daily basis
- Review and maintain Residential Aged Care homes’ master rosters, and ensure alignment of operational rosters to master rosters
- Produce roster analysis to support roster approval, costing any proposed roster changes
- Produce various operations and workforce reports such as onboarding, vacant shifts etc.
- Produce various reports as requested from the government departments such as 24/7 Nurse, NQIP, QFR
- Provide various inputs for the annual budget
- Assist with development and refinement of tools, procedures, and processes.
- Various project requests as required
About You
- Previous experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably within Aged Care or similar
- Previous experience in analysis of workforce data
- Experience with Data Warehouse systems is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills, with a high degree of attention detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build strong working relationships
- Strong computer literacy including advanced MS Excel skills
- Undergraduate degree with major (or equivalent) in a financial discipline
- Commencement of CPA/CA Qualifications preferable
- Covid and annual flu vaccination (mandatory)
