Facilities Engineer Role

We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our team in our Homebush Bay Data Centre for Fujitsu. This role is a permanent position with benefits associated with shift work. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to apply.

Shift Schedule:

  1. 2 x 12 hour day shifts
  2. 2 x 12 hour night shifts followed by 4 days off

Shift Allowance: 20% shift allowance on top of TRP

Main Responsibilities:

  • Data Centre security procedures
  • IT infrastructure management
  • Data Centre Plant and Equipment maintenance
  • Incident management and supporting procedures
  • Risk management assessments
  • Client and Service Providers liaison
  • Subcontractor management and supervision

Requirements:

  • Electrically qualified by trade or Mechanical/Controls background
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data centres or similar environments
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot customer issues
  • Experience in operational efficiencies and process reviews
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong awareness of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)
