We have a delightful opportunity available now for a hardworking and enthusiastic Bakers Assistant/ Apprentice Baker to join our team at Bakers Delight Castletown-Townsville

At Bakers Delight, our Apprentice Bakers are responsible for:

• Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery
• Providing delightful customer service when required
• Assisting with stock control and production expenses

To be considered for this ‘roll’, you will need to:

• Have a passion for baking
• Be a morning person Shifts commence at 6am. 
• Have a positive attitude, love working in a team environment and learning new skills
• Be prepared to work hard and love getting your hands dirty
• Thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
• Be available to work a 7-day rotating roster.
• Have basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Weekend work with penalty rates available.

*To be eligible for an Australian Apprenticeship you must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident. Apprentices will receive formal training and support from day one.
