Additionally, a strong understanding of pump technologies and their applications is essential to provide technical expertise and support to customers.

Scope of Role:

Market Analysis:

  • Evaluate and understand market opportunities within target sectors, including mining, water and energy.
  • Continuously gather and analyse customer feedback to enhance the company's market presence and reputation in these industries.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers to position the company as the preferred supplier.
  • Provide exceptional aftermarket support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Use existing relationships to maximise potential sales opportunities within the specified industries.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities with potential high-value clients in mining, water and energy sectors.
  • Assist in the pre-qualification and progression of quotations through the sales pipeline to enhance success rates.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and propose improvements to work methods and practices, ensuring alignment with company policies, and review these with the Sales Manager.

  • Understanding of pump applications and requirements across various industries, including mining, water treatment, energy production, and food & beverage processing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support for pump systems and related equipment.
