About the position 

We have an exciting new opportunity for an Internal Auditor to join our growing business. The right candidate will have the opportunity to play an integral role in our continued growth and success.

The primary responsibilities will be as following:

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Perform detailed walkthroughs of process to identify potential risk and area for developing, implementing audit plans to address these risks effectively.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of audit recommendations and track progress.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes, ensuring that our audit processes remain current and robust.
  • Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) by evaluating the design and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Perform SOX 404 testing to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of key controls.
  • Develop and update SOX documentation, including process narratives, risk control matrices, and test scripts
