Role overview:

Currently seeking a Technical Lead for a Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) project with the operator of Australia's primary gas and electricity markets. As part of Corporate Systems Modernisation Program, this role will oversee the implementation of MS Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) via a System Integration Partner.

This role will lead and direct the implementing the core finance, procurement and project modules. The ideal candidate will have delivered a D365 Finance and Operations implementation and have a strong technical and integration acumen.

Key responsibilities below:

• Be the single point of contact for the project manager and solution architect to discuss technical planning and delivery across the project.

• Be responsible for delivering the technical scope of the project overseeing others as required.

• Manage the technical delivery including developing technical stream level plan/schedule, manage resource allocation with internal teams and monitor/track progress.

• Provide technical expertise, guidance and support to team members and stream leads (solution, data migration, environments and integration) across D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) implementation.

• Understand high level design and lead the effort to generate low level design for implementation with the SI partner and internal integration resources.

• Preparing and presenting at related technical forums and boards to ensure project deliverables are accepted and approved.

• Ensure any solution designs are aligned to internal guidelines and approved designs.

Required experience:

• Demonstrated experience in delivering a finance transformation project that has delivered on multiple finance modules including General ledger, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Fixed asset, and budget & forecasts.

• Experience in implementing Dynamics 365 system for finance transformation including interfaces to external systems including bank payments, HR systems and procurement.

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical team across solution, data migration, environments, and integration aspects.
