About the Role

As a Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for overall supervision of the logistics department, leading a number of Storepersons. Your will manage stores purchasing including the requesting and receipting of purchase orders. Liaising with Planners, Scopers, Project Managers & Supervisors to ensure the availability of required inventory for outage and operational works. Your other key responsibilities include:

  1. Facilitate regular stocktakes and auditing of counts of stock levels.
  2. Support the negotiation of fair pricing and terms with key inventory suppliers.
  3. Ensure all data is entered accurately and in a timely manner by Logistics team members.
  4. Maintain effective documentation & reporting.

About you

To be successful in this role, you should hold the following skills & experience:

  1. Proven leadership and coordination experience within the logistics industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of stores and inventory management principles including the use of inventory management IT systems – SAP desirable.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with experience in managing customer relations.
  4. Good literacy & numeracy skills.
  5. Previous exposure Microsoft Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook.
  6. Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF)
  7. Current Full Drivers Licence – Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence
  8. Desirable Current HRWL – Vehicle Loading Crane (CV)
