The Team 
Our Insurance & Health team is headed up by 31 industry leading principals across six states. Within the insurance space our award-winning team is known for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional client service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas. The principal that heads up the team in our Hobart office is Alison Hay.

The Role 
Due to growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join our team in Hobart. The role will involve defending a variety of claims brought against directors, officers and companies, and professionals across the construction, financial services, property, and allied health industries. 


The Successful Candidate:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills, experience and attributes: 

  • strong commercial litigation experience with a desire to do defendant insurance litigation work;
  • ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;
  • ability and enthusiasm to mentor junior practitioners; and 
  • a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
