SMP Site Engineer

Preferably you will be Gladstone based, however FIFO / DIDO on a 2/1 roster can be arrangedfor the right person.
As the SMP Site Engineer you will be responsible for contractors schedules & budgets and haveproactive interface management skills, adept at mitigating issues to ensure smooth integration of scopes within the overarching project. This entails collaborating closely with Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Health & Safety, Environmental, Social Engagement, and Contracts and Procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination, facilitation and management of Contractor works.
- Collaboration with contractors and stakeholders.
- Implementation of the change management process as required.
- Maintain project documentation, design changes, field reports, and correspondence.
- Assess and respond to Technical Queries as they arise.
- Provide project engineering support
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks
- Assist in contractor cost estimation and budget management.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Min 5 years SMP engineering experienceon major capital projectsheavy industry.
- Stronginterpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability and confidence to hit the ground running.
- Strong understanding of project reporting regimes and inputs to weekly and monthly reports.
- Right to work in Australia.
