The Role: As the ERZ Controller at Cook Colliery, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements. We offer an attractive rotation, along with a competitive salary for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising coal mine workers.
• Carrying out inspections
• Directing and overseeing all personnel, systems and equipment
• Complying with safety and health management systems for the underground mine 
• Enforcement of mine standards
• Providing leadership to ensure teams are productive and safe underground 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience working as a ERZ Controller or Underground Production Supervisor within an underground coal mine
• Underground statutory ticket
• Queensland First, Second or Third-class Certificate of Competency or a Queensland Mutual Recognition.
• Commitment to health & safety within an underground coal mine
