About the role:

The Head of Business Management will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day running of the business across Australia and New Zealand for merchant and financial institution segments as well as working with key partners locally and in-region to consult and assist with on delivering key strategic initiatives. The individual will be responsible for leading a team of individuals that assist with run-the-business, change the business functions that include change and project management, vendor relations, process management and audit oversight and data management.

The role provides an enormous opportunity for the incumbent to build out and maintain frameworks that are critical to sustain and build out a scalable model in Service Delivery that include: process and file/document management, third-party and customer governance, data quality and review, and third party relationship performance.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Change and Process Management:

  • Develop and maintain change management framework and disciplines to raise and manage key initiatives.
  • Engagement model with Service Delivery for new projects and key initiatives.
  • Develop a framework to assist with understanding and managing impacts of change, timeliness of planning and implementation and the alignment to broader business strategic objectives. with BAU case management daily volumes.
  • Build and maintain projects and initiatives repository to manage and report on all proposed, inflight and closed initiatives for Service Delivery.
  • Up and maintain procedures, processes and other document for Operations and Service teams.
  • Review of strategic projects and BRD’s – transactions, system, coding, user stories

Vendor Management:

  • Work with key stakeholders to forecast key inventory/stock requirements over a rolling 12-month period.
  • Develop a framework to track actual vs plan forecasting.
  • Invoice Management: Responsible for life-cycle of purchase orders across Fiserv Australia and New Zealand business
  • On going review of all key asset usage and cost to leverage; contract terms, new-to-market products and services, and change in merchant behaviors.
  • Third Party Performance and Governance: Align vendor governance and reporting to existing contract obligations are being met. Regular review to ensure services performed/not performed are priced accordingly and contracts updated.
  • Access Management and boarding/off-boarding of contingency workers (Third Part Vendors)
  • Regular reporting to key business owner to inform update on Third Party Vendor Proactively contact client groups and continue to improve the relationship with those clients.
  • Management of all issues across all Third-Party Vendor Relations (excluding those managed by Fiserv Technology and Product)

Product and System Optimization/Updates:

  • New and upgrade product software and fleet configuration deployment
  • Product/Company/Client Sponsored – Consultancy/Delivery/Communications
  • Transaction and Financial Model Review: analysis, testing, recommendations, and delivery
  • Communications framework and channels to update partners, and merchants and clients on scheduled system, upgrades.

Data Quality Management:

  • Development data management framework to ensuring accuracy, reliability and consistency of new client boarding
  • Development of quality management to ensure consistency across multiple systems and to ensure that Fiserv data meets scheme, credit, risk and regulatory obligations
  • Oversight of implementing key initiatives to facility cleansing, purging, monitoring and to facilitate analysis and reporting activities to provide insights on company and customer activity and performance.

What are we looking for:

  • Proven experience of developing and implementing frameworks and methodologies within team and across the broader business; including change management, process management, testing/pilot methodologies, client governance and audit.
  • Familiar with continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with the use of digitization and automation to delivery process improvements.
  • Excellent data analytics and data quality management skills with some system integration knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of project and change management methodologies.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels.
  • People leadership experience essential
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills

Desired Experience and Knowledge:

  • 5 years’ experience in leading teams that support Business Management, Product Management, Service Delivery functions
  • Experience in payments industry / merchant acquiring / banking & finance
  • Project management, change management or continuous improvement certification.
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree accreditation
  • Proven experience working with Sales, Product and Technology.
