Role Name: Business Analyst

Domain Required: P & C Insurance

Role Brief: We are looking for a Business Analyst with a strong technical background and experience in digital asset management to support the delivery of changes across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in business analysis, requirement capture, and the Agile methodology, with a focus on enhancing digital assets such as mobile apps, websites, and APIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide business analysis expertise to accurately capture requirements, plan, estimate, and author detailed story cards, ensuring seamless changes to digital assets.
  • Collaborate closely with squad members, including but not limited to, Scrum Masters, Developers, Tech Leads, and Test Analysts, to identify, capture, plan, and deliver changes.
  • Understand APIs, integrations, and the architecture of various digital assets to assist in identifying and planning changes.
  • Decompose functional requirements into technical user stories and collaborate with the development team to ensure requirements are clear and actionable.
  • Write test cases to support user testing prior to a release and closely work with the testing team to ensure successful application of changes.
  • Identify, raise, and manage risks in accordance with the risk management framework and Tribe and Squad processes.
  • Actively participate in all Tribe, Squad, and Chapter cadence activities.

Skills Required:

  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years as a Business Analyst, with a preference for experience in the digital environment and on digital assets including mobile apps, web, and APIs. Experience in the insurance industry is preferred. A high-level understanding of the policy lifecycle is also required.
  • Agile Proficiency: Experienced in working as part of an Agile squad and closely with technical teams. Must be a proficient user of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Technical Documentation: Proficient in documenting technical user stories.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and influencing skills, including experience in dealing with various stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Teamwork: Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a desire to make a difference.
