We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our Brisbane team. This role is available as a full time position.

To be considered for this role you must be an Accounting graduate with at least 3 years experience in a similar role. You will be completing or have completed your CA/CPA program. Furthermore, you will have strong technical and analytical abilities, with a high attention to detail and focus on meeting deadlines. You must have a professional approach to work, enjoy interacting with clients and working as part of a small close-knit team.

In this role you will work with a diverse range of clients of various structures including individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and self-managed superannuation funds. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building, supporting, and maintaining strong client relationships;
  • Identifying and managing tax complications such as Division 7A loans, FBT, CGT events, SBE and depreciation concessions;
  • Management of client’s reporting, budgeting, and forecasting requirements;
  • Preparation of compliance work such as financial statements, activity statements and tax returns, audits;
  • Supporting and motivating other team members.

  • Knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and accounting reporting requirements;

  • Well developed communication skills (written and verbal);
  • High attention to detail;
  • Proactive nature and ability to work autonomously.
