Are you a seasoned engineer with expertise in SCADA systems and a passion for delivering exceptional solutions? Yokogawa Australia is seeking a dynamic Senior Technical Service Engineer to join our esteemed Technical Services team in Melbourne. If you're ready to take on a Senior role in designing, implementing, and testing control systems, this opportunity is for you.
Position Summary:
As a Senior Technical Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of control systems, with a specific focus on SCADA systems. You will lead projects, coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities, and ensure the technical delivery of projects according to schedule, standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects involving the design, implementation, and testing of SCADA systems, ensuring adherence to project requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
- Provide technical direction to service engineers, assisting in the translation of client design requirements into functional design specifications.
- Supervise the design, implementation, and testing of process control configurations for Yokogawa control systems.
- Act as a critical interface with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and technical issues are resolved effectively.
Role Requirements
- Degree in electrical, instrumentation, mechatronics, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
- 8+ years’ hands-on experience with process control systems.
- 5+ years' experience with SCADA systems design and implementation.
- Strong leadership capabilities with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead projects/teams and solve complex technical problems.
- Previous experience working with MOSAIC SCADA is highly regarded.
- TUV Certification for Safety Instrumented Systems is advantageous.
