Our client is a chartered firm of three Directors and twenty professional staff focused on providing tax, compliance and strategy advice to a portfolio of private businesses.

The practice's client profile represents a diverse and successful portfolio of private businesses who contract for holistic advice. The depth of service sees staff involvement in clients' tax and commercial strategies and long-term growth and succession plans.

The Senior Tax Accountant reports to a Partner with a background within Big 4 international firms. The professional development inherent to working with top level Partners is readily apparent to those who aspire to launch beyond garden-variety compliance.

Success in this role will necessarily be underpinned by;

  • Chartered or CPA qualifications
  • Minimum of five years experience in a professional tax practice
  • Competence in Division 7a 
  • Experience in assisting with the development of tax planning
  • An understanding of SMSF interaction with tax optimisation
  • Confidence in preparation of financial statements and tax returns for multi-entity groups comprising companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
