Ophthalmology Eye Casualty and Outpatient Department are looking for an Orthoptist - Senior to join their team. Princess Alexandra Hospital is situated in the inner South-East corner of Brisbane. It is the most culturally diverse area of Queensland with 28.5% of the community born overseas and 16% from non-English speaking countries.The Princess Alexandra Hospital Ophthalmology clinic is one of the busiest eye clinics in Queensland.

About the Role
- Develop and maintain strategic links with community-based organisations to ensure appropriate and effective clinical handover and discharge planning processes are maintained.
- Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
