About the team

  • The Unit works to deliver strategic internal and external communication, media, marketing, online and creative services across various Government Department's.

About your role

  • You will be part of a small team that provides publishing, content and web development services to the department across various websites.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the web developer to create and implement technical solutions to address various departmental business requirements and improve functionality, usability, accessibility and overall user experience of the department’s websites and intranet.
  • Set up analytics including tags and tracking and establish reports to enable an understanding of web performance.
  • Develop an understanding of the principles of effective web writing and provide guidance on their use.
  • Work cooperatively to continually improve the value of web services through the provision of appropriate, efficient and effective support, solutions and infrastructure.

Technical Expertise

  • Experience using Squiz Matrix and web coding languages (HTML, CSS and JavaScript).
  • Content management system training will be provided for the right candidate.
