Estimator - Shopfitting

All State Group is a well established and highly regarded detailed Joinery company with an excellent reputation for quality joinery work for high-end clientele.

We know our best asset is our people, so we ensure we give them the support they need to thrive and achieve their business and personal goals. As we are expanding, we are looking for an experienced Joinery Estimator to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

The Role:
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate:
• The ability to read and understand architectural commercial joinery plans 
with confidence and think laterally, problem solve and value offer solutions.
• Previous experience in delivering multiple projects simultaneously and the 
 ability to work within a team.
• Obtaining quotes from suppliers and subcontractors as required to prepare 
 our tenders.

Skills Required:

• Trade Background or previous experience in estimating in the construction trade.
• Experience in reading tender documents/plans and being able to identify and understand the scope of works and relevant trade requirements
• Co-ordinate all quotes and pricing / queries / tenders / liaise with our project managers, factory managers, drafting team and suppliers
• High level of product knowledge of Commercial estimation.
• Must have intermediate computer skills using take off software as well as Excel.
• A strong ability to work autonomously whilst meeting deadlines all with the knowledge you will be well supported in a very professional environment.
• The desire to work within a team environment fostering new and existing customer relationships
