Wood is recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Operations business in Perth, Western Australia. This is a part-time/work-share opportunity to join our expanding Oil and Gas Operations team, due to recently securing several large projects with existing long-term clients.

About the Role:
  1. Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector.
  2. Reporting to the Structural Engineering Discipline Manager or appointed Team Lead.
  3. You will be working across FEED / Execution to EPCM delivery, with a focus on design.
  4. Must have prior Senior engineer level working experience in Onshore processing facilities and Offshore LNG, Oil & Gas sectors within an EPCM engineering and maintenance project environment with both onshore and/or offshore scope of work engagements.
Requirements:
  1. Australian citizenship OR hold Permanent Residency (PR) OR hold an eligible visa to work lawfully in Australia.
  2. Bachelor's Civil Engineering degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  3. Familiarity with relevant standards and design guidelines to the civil engineering discipline.
  4. Experienced in performing Civil Design including detailed design of:
  5. Drive the design and drafting scopes independently.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with the client.
  7. Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize.
  8. Experience in the use of relevant software packages (e.g. Civil3D, 12D).
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working as a Civil Engineer in a broad range of Oil & Gas projects within a multi-disciplinary environment.
