Job Location: CPC Engineering is a multi-disciplined engineering design, construction, and project management company that has developed a reputation for delivering professional, practical, and cost-effective services to the resource industry.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer vacancy. The applicant shall have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in the mining and mineral processing industries. The position will be a key member of an experienced team covering a diverse range of projects.

Attractive package with (optional) compressed work (9-day) fortnight scheme.

Education and Experience:
  1. Significant (>10 years) experience in the field, with wet plant/concentrator experience preferred
  2. Engineering delivery experience
  3. Knowledge of a range of processes and unit operations
  4. Ability to produce estimates and proposals
  5. Ability to coordinate studies and small projects, including change management
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop mechanical engineering deliverables including package engineering, calculations, and plant design
  2. Provide project review of mechanical deliverables
  3. Coordinate design and drafting people
  4. Review delivery progress and schedule
Additional Requirements:
  1. Working in a team environment
  2. Allocating work to others and monitoring progress thereof
  3. Knowledge of databases and version control
  4. High-level communication skills – written and verbal
  5. Strong computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office and typical engineering software (Sidewinder and Fluidflow)
  6. Excellent organizational and time management skills for systems and follow-up
  7. Willingness to travel if required
