Plascorp, one of Australia's leading privately-owned national manufacturers and distributors of Industrial Ducting, Mine Ventilation, PVC Pipe and Steel reinforcing solutions is looking for a Process Engineer to join our Altona North manufacturing facility.

The successfull applicant will:

• Maintain and implement projects in line with budget and deadlines.
• Lead Operational excellence program on-site at ground level.
• Use Lean principles for day-to-day systems.
• Work with State Manager to develop the business case for new product development.
• Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows.
• Train management and operational team on conducting a root cause analysis (RCA) for quality, safety, and operational issues.
• Design, implement, and monitor safety systems and risk assessments.

Skills and experience required:

• At least five years’ experience in manufacturing
• Relevant qualification - Chemical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer
• Proven track record of continuous improvement and/or LEAN implementation success
