We are a down to earth, easy going, and compassionate team who would love to welcome an experienced and like-minded Vet Nurse **End of September Start Date**

At Springvale we have a friendly clientele, both well-established long-standing clients as well as lots of new faces recently finding their way to us - we pride ourselves on the close relationships we have with our clients

A team of 2 Vets and 5 Vet Nurses, we've created a positive and balanced family friendly environment - we all get on really well and strive for a supportive and motivating workplace culture We are all open to learn and willing to teach - and there's always a laugh to be had

About Your New Role

  • Part-time role available
  • Also the option to start on a Casual 3-month contract with possible progression into a permanent role
  • Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
  • Performing minor procedures when required
  • Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Reception duties as required

About Your Skills And Your Experience

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with min. 2+ years of experience
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
  • Driven with the ability to work with initiative, as part of a team and independently
  • A calm and friendly presence
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of RX Works and Smartflow ideal but not essential
