  • The role involves:Designing and managing significant Urban Development projects
  • Overseeing civil works specifications, engineering reports, and tenders
  • Managing all aspects of project design delivery
  • Regular communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Implementing safety in design practices
  • Maintaining and developing client relationships
  • Mentoring junior engineers

Ideal candidate qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of design experience, with at least 5 in Australia
  • Degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
  • CPEng / NER (desirable but not essential)
  • Proficiency in DRAINS and MUSIC
  • Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic modelling (TUFLOW and HEC-RAS) and flood risk management
  • Experience in various civil infrastructure and urban development projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in report writing
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities in drainage, stormwater, and flooding
  • Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
  • Positive attitude
