Job Description

Improving employment outcomes for Indigenous Australians is a priority in the work we do at atWork Australia. To allow us to achieve this we have a specialised team of Indigenous Connections Coaches who work alongside our job coaches to further support our Indigenous Clients with their employment goals.

We are seeking a manager to lead the team of Indigenous Connections Coaches across the country and will be responsible for:

  • Supporting, coaching, and giving strategies to Indigenous Connections Coaches to assist our clients into sustainable employment.
  • Supporting Indigenous Connections Coaches to assist our clients with the transition into employment through supported interviews and first day and week support.
  • Ensuring each Employment Region has relationships with Indigenous organisations who provide wrap around supports for our clients.

This is a great opportunity for somebody who is looking to take the next step in their career. The location of this role is flexible from any of our offices in South Australia, Western Australia or New South Wales.

To lead this specialist team, it is important that you have a deep understanding of, and a strong connection with, Indigenous cultures and communities.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to lead a team remotely – including recruitment, onboarding, ongoing coaching, and performance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indigenous cultures.
