Job Description

• Assist with the management of finance team in day-to-day activities (financial accountants, payroll officer, doctor pay officer, accounts payable officer).
• Connecting with Doctors on a weekly basis to ensure productivity remains high.
• Responsibility for overseeing month end reporting.
• Analysis & interpretation of company performance and in-depth analysis of consult data.
• Establish, implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Prepare financial statements at year-end and Ensure finance deadlines are met.
• Coordination point for the annual audit.
• Ensure statutory compliance requirements of superannuation, GST, PAYG, payroll tax, ABS.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience working in a Big Four or Mid-tier consultancy firm.
• CA/CPA qualified, preferably CA.
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Experience engaging with non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
