What you'll be doing
To provide an opportunity to gain skills and experience in specialist Palliative Medicine. The site is accredited for Advanced Training in Palliative Medicine and the Clinical Foundation in Palliative Medicine. The supervised Advanced Trainee in Palliative Medicine will provide quality healthcare to patients, while developing a broad knowledge of the principles and practice of palliative medicine and a satisfactory level of competence in palliative medicine as required for Advanced Training. This position will have supervision from specialist medical staff whilst undertaking learning and professional development as outlined by the Chapter of Palliative Medicine, Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

- Eligible for Registration: MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- RACP BPT or AT (Palliative Medicine & other subspecialties), eligible for the Clinical Foundation in Palliative Medicine), Faculty of Pain Medicine trainees, and for special interest training of other colleges in supportive and palliative care.
- Demonstrated excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise.
- Demonstrated teamwork within a multidisciplinary team, time management and problem-solving skills in a complex clinical environment
- Preparedness and ability to work independently in a supervised environment.
- Demonstrate commitment to relevant Advanced Training program and the service requirements of the organisation including rosters.
- Current Drivers licence (P2 licence acceptable).
