BIM COORDINATOR

Rate:Competetive (Inside of IR35 + LodgeContribution)

Location: Devonport, Plymouth

Duration: 12 Months + ( flexi working agreement possible )

I am currentlyrecruiting for a BIM Coordinator familiar with 3D and 4D modelling to work on a major civils project based in Devonport, Plymouth.

BIM COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as a subject matter expert for the digital construction tools/applications and provide technical support to personnel as and when required.
Ensure that all modelling work is conducted in compliance with ISO 19650 and CAD standards.
Understand the hardware and software requirements on the project and communicate with the BIM Lead and Project information Manager.
Become the point of authority for all Synchro 4D pro Projects Produce high end visualisations to aid decision making and facilitate onsite construction.
Assist and train Digital Construction Technicians and Modellers whenever required.
Maintain high safety and environmental standards in accordance with company policies and report any inadequacies.

BIM COORDINATOR REQUIREMENTS

Have good understanding of civil/structural design and principles.
Previous experience in 3D-4D modelling
Strong interest in 3D-4D design, modelling and creating immersive models.
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Synchro 4D pro.
Possess a high level of visualisation techniques (Framing, Colour, Contrast, Symmetry etc).
Knowledge and use of model coding for planning purposes within the 3D and 4D model.
Prior experience of, 3Ds Max and video editing software beneficial but not essential.
Degree educated in a civil engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of ISO 19650.
Operate 3-5 days a week on site in our offices at Devonport Royal Dockyard, as required by site with the remainder by agreement working from home.
