Our Energy and Resources Division in Perth works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist Mining, Oil and Gas, Hydrogen and Renewable Energy projects across the country. These include mining integrity, maintenance and construction related work programs, as well as upstream Oil and Gas flowlines, leases, network gathering and distribution systems projects

Ideally, we are seeking a qualified Civil Structural Engineer- Mining with 3 to 10 years of experience in the Mining industry. This full-time role involves a secondment to one of our top-tier clients for a period of 12 months.

This role will see you be responsible for:

• The structural engineering outcomes in conceptual design, front end engineering, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover, and operations whilst ensuring regulatory compliance
• Developing innovative solutions through the application of engineering knowledge and judgement, including, concrete supports, structures, skid design and structural design principles
• Structural construction scopes of work
• Assisting with growing the team and developing engineers and designers
• Reviewing analysis models and calculations
• Carrying out complex structural analysis
• Preparing and reviewing assessment reports
• Key client relationship management and growing the client base

About you:

• You are a Senior Structural Engineer ideally with Chartership status or working towards Chartership
• You have experience in the delivery of structural engineering services within the Australian Mining and energy and resources industries
• You have strong analytical and technical report writing skills
• 3-10 years experience in a similar role
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• You currently reside or intend to reside in Perth;
• You excel at multitasking and enjoy working on a variety of projects
