About the role

Due to ongoing expansion, the Northeast Auto Group is excited to welcome Apprentice mechanics to our Shepparton team. As an apprentice Mechanic you will be responsible for assisting the qualified mechanics with maintenance, repairing and servicing of our customers vehicles. 

Along with this, you will: 

• Learn from our qualified mechanics about the maintenance and repairs of a variety of vehicles; 
• Learn how to diagnose mechanical faults; 
• Learn how to plan for scheduled works and ordering parts required; 
• Maintaining a commitment to safety in the workplace.

About you

• A commitment to completing Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Cert III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology (essential);
• Driver’s licence (essential);
• Basic mechanical knowledge and/or genuine interest in automotive; 
• Willingness to learn and develop;
• Excellent time management, organisation and prioritization skills.
